You just unboxed a new Kobo. Your library has synced and your current read is waiting. Then comes the part nobody warns you about: finding a case that actually fits.
Good news. There are only two Bondi Kobo sizes to know, and it takes about ten seconds to figure out which one is yours.
The short answer
- Kobo Clara Colour and Kobo Clara BW share one case. Same body, same size.
- Kobo Libra Colour needs its own case. It is a larger reader.
Why the Clara Colour and Clara BW use the same case
Both Clara models have the same 6 inch body. The difference is the screen: the Clara Colour has a color display, and the Clara BW is black and white. On the outside, they are twins. Both measure 112 x 160 x 9.2 mm.
If you read on either one, a Clara Colour / BW case is made for you.
Why the Libra Colour is different
The Libra Colour is Kobo's 7 inch reader. It is wider (144.6 x 161 x 8.3 mm) and has physical page-turn buttons along one side, so a Clara case will not fit it.

What about older Kobos?
Bondi's Kobo cases are made for the Clara Colour, the Clara BW, and the Libra Colour only. If you read on an older model, like the Clara 2E, Clara HD, or Libra 2, these cases are not made for it.
How to check which Kobo you have
From your Home screen, tap More, then Settings. The last option in the menu reads About, followed by your eReader's name.
If it says Clara Colour or Clara BW, you want the Clara case. If it says Libra Colour, you want the Libra case. Still not sure? Take our size quiz.
The part we love most: a fully magnetic back
